A. R. Rahman WINS GOLDEN GLOBE for Slumdog Millionaire

A.R.Rahman has created history today by winning India’s first Golden Globe award for Best original score for Danny Boyle’s masterpiece Slumdog Millionaire. He had also been named best composer at the Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles last week.

If any musician in India ever deserved to win, it was A. R. Rahman, the “Asian Mozart”, a composer who comes once in a generation.
